In the Vosges mountains, some passes leave more traces in the legs than others, no doubt it is the Grand Ballon, 1341m high, which will leave you the most lactic acid in the thighs! The older ones have written their name when passing this pass during the Tour de France, including: Lucien Van Impe, the French Laurent Fignon in 1992 or even more recently Thomas De Gent.
