CX/TX Sport – The higher cadence and longer travel times that characterize road cycling require excellent foot control to avoid hot spots and numbness. With a much tighter fit than any of our off-road lasts, our latest Sport cradles the foot securely to prevent unwanted movement. This one features a precision-fit toe area, high arch and medium-width ball strap.

The CX145 is built on Lake’s amazing fiberglass-injected nylon outsole. Lake’s nylon sole is world renowned for its uncompromising comfort and performance. No other injected nylon sole offers the same level of stiffness or comfort.

The upper is composed of softshell fabric, water-resistant microfiber, 200gr Thinsulate insulation and a waterproof membrane, making it a highly water-resistant cycling shoe ideal for a variety of conditions. Clarino microfiber offers durability and the flexibility of leather with a significant weight reduction.

The BOA dial mounted on the tongue of the M4 medium capacity cartridge excels in ice, dirt and other harsh environments and is designed to be easily adjusted with gloves. The medium capacity dial combines durability and closure strength to withstand intense force and impact without sacrificing fit and when combined with the Click-Fit quick release, the system makes entry and exit easy.
